Potential players will need to bring turf shoes, ball, and water.   The cost of the tryout will be $30, and will be refunded if they are invited back to a second tryout in March.  Out of town players will need to find own lodging.  High school, college, and former college players are all welcome to attend.  The tryout is at SoccerZone in Oshtemo:

Kalamazoo Outrage Schedule Released by the USL

Kalamazoo, MI – January 28, 2008 -- The United Soccer Leagues has released the W League and the Premier Development League schedules for the 2008 season. The Outrage schedule is highlighted by 3 double headers, designed to showcase both teams in one evening, including a visit from the two time PDL champion Michigan Bucks.  The season will open with a double header on Friday May 16th. The ladies will host FC Indiana at 6pm followed by the men hosting the West Virginia Chaos at 8pm. The second double header will take place during the Kalamazoo Invitational Soccer Showcase on Saturday June 21st. The West Michigan Firewoman will play the ladies at 6pm followed by the men’s side in a showdown with the Michigan Bucks at 8pm. The third double header will take place on Friday July 4th. The Chicago Gaels will take on the women’s side at 4pm followed by a visit from the West Michigan Edge in a 6pm start against the men.

TKO Premier Soccer Club Names W-League Head Coach
The TKO Premier Soccer Club has named Tony DiTucci as head coach of its W-League franchise.  Mr. DiTucci is currently in the 3rd year as the head coach of the Central Michigan University women’s soccer program.  A native of Rochester, New York, DiTucci graduated from Saint John Fisher College summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science in 1996. DiTucci holds an Advanced National coaching diploma from the NSCAA as well as a USSF C license. He is also a member of both the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the United States Soccer Federation.




Exceptional competitive women’s soccer lives in the USL W-League, USL’s highest level of women’s soccer in the US and Canada. The 2007 campaign features a 35-team format in four conferences playing 12 or 14 regular season matches. The top women’s players throughout the world compete in the USL W-League through the summer months. In addition to the league featuring international and former professional stars, elite collegiate players have the opportunity to also compete in the league while
maintaining their collegiate eligibility. The league is recognized throughout the world for providing elite competition for women’s players, while providing affordable family entertainment to many fans in each of the team locations.
