TKO's Mario Diaz Makes Michigan State ODP 94 Team

Congratulations to Mario Diaz for making the Michigan State ODP '94 team. He was selected from over 100 of the top players in the state over the last several months. He will be traveling to the Region 2 Regional Camp July 15. If selected to the Regional team, he will than have a chance to make the National team. Mario currently plays on the U15B White Premier team for TKO. Congratulations Mario!

TKO U13 Boys Win Portage Classic

The TKO U13 boys side coached by Rob Allison capped off an excellent year by winning the u13 boys gold division at the Portage Soccer Tournament. The team went undefeated in the classic 2 division of the Michigan State Premier Soccer League with a record of 8 wins and 0 losses and a goal differential of +24. The team defeated Portage Soccer Club in round robin play 1-0 and again in the finals 2-1. Both matches were well played by both teams and featured many exciting scoring opportunities and many great saves. Great job boys!!

TKO Quintet Headed to Adrian

Playing in college is the ultimate goal for many youth players, and TKO is proud to announce that five players will not only be continuing their careers this fall, but will be attending the same college to do so. McKenzie Doda, Anika Johnson, Haley Smith, Jessica Toth, and Jordan Wolf have committed to Adrian College and will join the 2009 MIAA Runners-Up in August.

TKO Spotlight: U12 Boys White

Neil Ridgway's U12 Boys White had a tremendous 2009-10 season. This U12 Boys White team won the Capital City Classic, Novi Jaguar U12 Elite Division, and was runner up in the Pacesetters U12 Gold division. TKO Teams Show Well at the Pacesetter Invitational

What a great showing for TKO as a club at the Pacesetter Soccer Invitational. Out of 21 teams we had 9 make it into Monday's games and play in the semi finals or finals. We ended with 2 Champions, 4 Finalists and 3 semi Finalists. Below are the final results with team, coach, place and record.

U13 Boys Win the Jaguar Invitational Soccer Tournament

TKO U13 Boys win the Gold Division of the Jaguar Invitational Soccer Tournament. TKO did not allow a goal in round robin play outscoring its three opponents 17-0. In the final, TKO defeated a strong team from WAZA FC who had also dominated its competition in round robin play. The score of the championship match was TKO 2 - Waza 1. Great job boys!

TKO U9 Blue Win Kalamazoo Crusader Cup

Playing in their u8 age group the boys exhibited their talent and skill with decisive wins during the weekend. The team dominated play on the field, placing the ball in the net 27 times while allowing only one goal during their 4 games. In the shortened 30 minute final with rain pouring down,the boys played like champs to a confident 3-0 finish.

Highlights From The Ohio Elite Showcase

TKO had 4 boys teams (U15 - U18) participating in the Ohio Elite Showcase Tournament. The club played 12 games, and finished with 6 wins, 5 draws, and 1 loss. The U15 boys went 3-0, and finished at the top of their division with 28 points. The U16 boys went 2-0-1 in the snowy conditions. This is the highest ranked (platinum) tournament in the country.
